Baby Screen Display

For this project you will need:

Toy Cars paper C89 007

Boys Playtime paper C89 006

Stickers ST89 001

Stickers ST89 002

Denim Weave cardstock CC020

Chipboard die-cut LITTLE GIGGLES DC89 007

Pram die-cut and Bunny die-cut from the Carders Pack MC89 001A

Fabric FabScraps Flowers

Other: white card, paper straws, white acrylic ink, blue gouache paint, glue, tape

Instructions:

STEP 1:

SILHOUETTE:

From the ‘Baby Boy Screen Card, cut the screen elements, 2 baby grows and one hanger – use Denim Weave cardstock CC020 for the base element (the screen), one baby grow and the hanger; use Toy Cars paper C89 007 for the screen panels and Boys Playtime paper C89 006 second baby grow.

STEP 2:

Glue the panels onto the screen. Glue together the two baby grows so that it looks as if it’s throwing shade and ‘hang’ it on the hanger. Leave it all to dry (it might be a good idea to put a heavy book over the drying items to prevent warping).

PREPARING EMBELLISHMENTS

STEP 3:

Cut the chipboard die-cut LITTLE GIGGLES DC89 007 out of its frame. Paint it white with acrylic ink. Once dry, delicately watercolour it using blue gouache paint.

STEP 4:

Stick VINTAGE CAR and SWEET BABY from the sticker sheets ST89 001 and ST89 002 on white card and fuzzy cut them. Pick two different design paper straws and cut their ends at an angle.

ASSEMBLING EMBELISHMENTS ON THE SCREEN

STEP 5:

On the 1^st panel, ‘hang’ the baby grow and attach the LITTLE GIGGLES chipboard using 3d foam tape.

On the 2^nd panel, attach a photo and partly overlay it with Bunny die-cut from the Carders Pack MC89 001A using 3d foam tape.

On the 3^rd panel, attach the paper straws with glue. On the vintage car, layer 2 strips of 3d foam tape to build its height. Arrange and attach the car, the ‘Sweet Baby’ label  and fabric flowers on the panel.

On the 4^th panel, place your photo in between layers of the Pram die-cut from the Carders Pack MC89 001A. Attach it using 3d foam tape.

Your screen display is ready.
